Full Moon Practice

“Look up into the dark sky,” I said to my children, “there we will meet, our eyes looking onto the Moon.”

This is the meeting place of mothers and their children.

We ask the one jewel in the sky for guidance; this celestial holding is our linear connection to a wish, a dream, a purge, an ask.

Full Moon New Moon practice harnesses the beauty of Lunar energy, to whisper the power of intention—creating clarity, creativity, and vitality, to allow feeling the embodiment of magic within.

Feeling into the dark (new) moon, the potential to have insights to the beauty of your intentions, nurture the growth from within. This can only be done by you.

The light from the sun, slowly illuminating the moon to its full potential, invites us to ebb and flow, to the cycles of the water, all to once again release the fullness, flowing into the shadows that no longer serve us. Leading us to the bright light of the new moon—fresh new light shines brightly on the path to new beginnings.

Attune yourself to this continual cycle of birth, growth, shedding, then renewal.

FULL MOON · 6 April 2023

Purnima

We have filled our cup with the growth of the waxing phase. This is the moment of bowing in deep reverence to the birthing of our fresh ideas shared with us over the last 15 days.

We bow to the insights, the time of play, the wonder, the new friends, the potential to freshly-formed ideas. This is also a time for forgiving each other, to see what has become and what no longer is needed—that is the feeling of being full.

Allow for deep surrender, leaning into the waning stages of the moon. The beauty of the shadow, the waning days ahead invite us into rest, devotion, reflection. Together, we’ll empty the container to observe, allowing the stillness of Self to bring forth another seed for the New Moon.

It’s a moment to celebrate our fullness and abundance.
